GROUP EVENTS IN THE EVERGLADES
Sawgrass Recreation Park hosts corporate gatherings, family reunions, sports teams, scouts, and school field trips throughout the year. Guided airboat tours through The Everglades start at 30 minutes but you can customize your adventure with an extended airboat ride and add catering from The Gator Grill.
Sawgrass owns the largest fleet of airboats in the United States, so we can accommodate 150 guests per hour on our airboats that each accommodate about 20-25 passengers. Exhibit Areas are included with all daytime airboat adventures. Private “islands” with shaded pavilions and picnic tables can be reserved.

Group Tour Inquiry Form
School group admission rates are given specifically to parties when student admission is being paid for by the school. Reservations are required in advance to receive a school discount. One person must pay for the entire group to receive the school discount. Final numbers are due 48 hours in advance. There must be one adult per 10 students in attendance to receive the school group rate. Payment is due the day of the field trip. Group discount rates start at 20 guests or more. Reservations are required in advance to receive a group discount. One person must pay for the entire group to receive the discount. Final numbers and payment are due 72 hours in advance.

We can customize your group visit with photo packages, souvenirs, or even catering services from The Gator Grill.
Prices are subject to 6% sales tax. Tax exempt groups must provide the Group Sales Department with a copy of their Tax-Exempt Certificate prior to arrival or on the day of the tour to qualify. Water can be purchased for your group in advance when you complete the reservation form. Please note that due to our location, there are no water fountains on site.

The park is Broward County School Board approved for water-related activities. We host summer camps, scouts, church organizations and corporate functions. Life vests are supplied for all children under six years of age.
Picnic areas are available for lunches, and bottled water can be purchased for your group at a discounted rate. We can accommodate large groups, and we have ample bus parking available.
Private islands can be booked for parties, and we also offer catering services. Site inspections are available at your convenience.
