Sawgrass Recreation Park is looking for Full Time and Part Time Retail Sales Associates who have a positive attitude, excellent guest service, work well in a team, and take pride in their work!
The primary job functions of this position will include: generating maximum sales through upholding high customer service standards, maintaining store appearance, keeping merchandise filled to the appropriate levels on the sales floor and minimizing shortages.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must greet guest in courteous and helpful manner
- Maintain visual presentation standards that are consistent with the SRP retail store direction
- Replenish merchandise on a timely basis
- Have knowledge of the store merchandise
- Be detailed oriented in maintaining displays
- Perform cleaning duties as assigned on a daily basis
- Operate cash register in accordance with company cash handling procedures
- Be accountable for all cash related transactions
- Familiar with emergency and safety procedures
- Relieve other retail employees for breaks, as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Must possess a good work ethic and make every effort to be at work, on time, and be a team player
- Develop proficiency and adhere to all SRP’s standard operating procedures and policies at all times
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1-year experience in the guest services industry
- Know how to operate Cash Registers, Credit Card Reader, Pricing Equipment, Scanning Device and general knowledge of computers
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communications skills
- Have knowledge of sales floor and stockroom organization
- Maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with all guests
- Able to bend, flex, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
- Lift at least 25 pounds
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions, including heat and rain

Help out our team at Sawgrass by becoming an Airboat Captain!
Escort visitors to the park over the glassy waters of the Everglades as you point out wildlife, flora and fauna along the way. Our park prides itself on educating guests about this fragile ecosystem as well as teaching about the importance of water conservation and the protection of the environment.
You will be responsible for checking out your vessel each morning for safety purposes and it will be required that you obtain a certified captains license to operate the airboats commercially which we provide onsite for a fee.
Boaters safety and CPR/ First Aid are also required to operate our airboats.

Sawgrass Recreation Park is looking for a Full Time Groundskeeper who has a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, works well in a team, and takes pride in their work!
The primary job functions of this position will include: installation and maintenance of seasonal flowerbeds, general landscaping maintenance, performing manual labor, and related duties; installs sod, trees and various other plants; operates a variety of commercial mowers and small engine hand tools; responsible for basic and advanced cleaning tasks; works in inclement weather.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and remove trash
- Maintenance and trimming of trees and ornamental plants
- Mowing of all grounds
- Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 80lbs
- Maintain a polite, friendly demeanor with all guest and staff
- Familiarity with emergency and safety procedures
- Must possess a good work ethic and make every effort to be at work, on time, and be a team player
- Develop proficiency and adhere to all SRP standard operating procedures and policies at all times
- Other duties as assigned by management or leads
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have valid Florida driver’s license
- Must have knowledge of basic landscaping equipment
- Minimum 1-year experience
- Heavy equipment experience preferred
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with all guests
- Able to bend, flex, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
- Lift at least 80 lbs
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions, including heat and rain

Sawgrass Recreation Park is looking for Gator Grill & Sweet Tooth Food Truck team members. Our two specialty food trucks are open daily from 10am to 4pm. Hours and shifts may vary depending on special events.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields is necessary
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of restaurant hospitality and fully engaged, service minded attitude
- Will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations in a fast casual setting
- Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
- Check freshness and quality of ingredients
- Assist in the development of menu items
- Standardize recipes and plate presentations
