Congratulations to Sheridan Park Elementary, Lauderhill Paul Turner Elementary, and Lakeside Elementary, our 2025-2026 School Year Winners!
The Everglades Field Trip Grant program began in 2023. The program is supported by the Sawgrass Nature Foundation. Each year we will select up to three institutions for a complimentary outing to Sawgrass Recreation Park so students can learn more about the Everglades. Grant Includes
- 30 Minute Airboat Adventure located at Sawgrass Recreation Park in Weston, FL
- Ear Protection
- Educational Presentation in Exhibit Areas
- Picnic Area will be provided if the school wishes to enjoy lunch on property.
- 1 Water per participant
Please Note: Transportation and lunch is not included with the grant.
*Applications must be received by September 11th, 2026 for consideration. *Winners will be announced on September 15th, 2026.
