Sawgrass Recreation Park Opens Brand New Food Truck

Sawgrass Recreation Park is proud to announce the grand opening of their new food truck, The Gator Grill. A six- month project in the making, the newly opened food truck features unique dishes in a picnic-style setting. Located at 1006 North U.S. Highway 27 Weston, FL 33327, The Gator Grill will be open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The truck itself was custom ordered and built over the past few months. It also boasts brand new equipment top to bottom and a stylish, family-friendly new wrap. One of the signature dishes is the Gator Tacos. Featuring grilled alligator bites tucked inside warm tortillas topped with crispy coleslaw, and our homemade Sawgrass sauce.

Popular for families is the Snappy Meal. Perfect for those little chompers, this kid’s meal includes applesauce, cookies and the child’s choice of PB&J sandwich, chicken tenders or a hot dog. Souvenir alligator cups can also be purchased with either apple juice or punch. Picnic tables surround the food truck under shaded trees so you can take your time and enjoy a nice lunch with the family. Catering is also now available if you are hosting an event on site.

Owned and operated by the Soverns’ family who also owns the attraction, the food truck will be a permanent fixture of this local park. Quality ingredients and fresh made to order meals ensure that this is a must-do if you are visiting Sawgrass Recreation Park.
